Destination Playstation: Little Big Planet Cart Racing Announced For PS3

February 7, 2012 - Jason Dunning - No Comments

The big news keeps coming out at Destination Playstation and this time around, it comes in the form of Little Big Planet Cart Racing for the PS3.

No hard information was given just yet, but the game will fully support the Move (maybe a wheel will be released alongside the game?) and it will also include full 3D. Expect more details on the game as they are unveiled.

so its LBP + ModNation.

I hope they do something different or I dont see a lot buying it.

Agreed. ModNation Racers hasn't been a big seller, and that was essentially the LittleBigPlanet of racing games.

Hopefuly it takes less than 3 days to load like ModNation...

Exactly, this is my problem with ModNation, the loading times are awful. I ejoyed the game and will probably still play it but for kart racers I'm looking for something simple, fun and quick to pick up and play. ModNation got the first two (and i loved how much you could customize stuff if you wanted), but it wasn't quick to pick up and play like Mario Kart. LBP is also more well known now so I could see the name helping it to sell fairly well, or at least better than MNR.

More on LBP Kart Racing here. It's by the ModNation folk. It'll be good, but typing this hurts

Wow. That really now makes no sense to me. They are releasing a competitor to their own game?

I think this shows Mod Nation Racers was a huge letdown, and they are releasing it under the LBP name hoping it will sell better.

If they cut the load times, I would be down as well. They were just truly awful,

Ditto. I still can't believe how slow it is even today; I thought they would have sorted it out by now, but no, it's like playing The Simpsons Road Rage on the PS2 all over again. Or a more recent example, WipEout 2048 on the PS Vita. :p

    • I made a new Cinematic/Trailer for the game, this will be the intro, still a work in progress!  I also updated the Steam page with a ton of new screenshots! 👀 https://store.steampowered.com/app/3925340/Incoherence_Dark_Rooms/

Microsoft confirmed June 23, 2026, that its Fairwater campus in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, is fully operational — and the engineering behind it makes the facility something fundamentally different from every data center that came before it. Where conventional cloud infrastructure racks up general-purpose servers and parcels out workloads to each one independently, Fairwater links hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200 Blackwell GPUs into a single, coherent cluster using a two-story building design, 800-gigabit-per-second Ethernet fabric, and a proprietary networking protocol co-developed with OpenAI and NVIDIA. The result, according to Microsoft, is the closest thing to a purpose-built AI supercomputer that any company has ever placed in commercial operation. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/319205/20260627/microsoft-opens-fairwater-wisconsin-ai-campus-runs-one-supercomputer-via-800g-ethernet.htm
