[XBL] Halo 4, 1 week voice ban?

I was and always am in party chat with my 2 roommates, so how did I get the 1 week voice ban?

343 has a thread about this. Claims the system is 100% automated. And people are being voice banned that don't even have mics. Something is broken, obviously, and judging by 343's post on the first page, they are being total pricks about it. :(

I would say there are only really 1 out of 2 possible scenarios...

One of your roomates reported you as a joke, and it wound up being not so funny...

There may be some kind of monitoring system in place even when you are in a party chat. If Kinect can work on voice commands, there is no reason why there also cannot be a system that "hears" certain words enough times that it then flags the person saying them as inappropriate, even in a party chat.

I would not completely dismiss the second scenario as being plausible.

Is this specifically for Halo 4 or for LIVE as a whole?

I ask because it makes a difference in who you should ask...

It was for just Halo 4, apparently there was an issue with the automated system that serves bans.
