Justin Bieber?s London tour stop hasn?t exactly been smooth sailing.

The Canadian crooner, who was widely criticized for his ?worst birthday? tantrum over the weekend, irritated his faithful fans and their parents Monday night by taking the stage nearly two hours late. But the 19-year-old is already doing damage control, insisting the story is being blown out of proportion though issuing an apology anyway.

The Biebs was scheduled to take the stage at London's O2 Arena at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. However, the young star didn?t hit the stage until 10:20. While typically Beliebers think the star can do no wrong, they grew impatient while waiting ? and concert footage showed them booing from their seats.

According to BBC News, many parents were irritated as well because they arrived to pick up their children at the venue, where doors had opened at 6.30 p.m., just as Bieber was finally taking the stage. Some insisted that their children leave before the show started ? after all, it was a school night ? forfeiting the price of the expensive tickets.

Bieber had excuses ? as well as an apology ? for his tardy arrival at the sold-out show.

?Last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10..so... i was 40 min late to stage,? he tweeted Tuesday. ?There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that.

?Tonight we will run on time and look forward to putting on an amazing show for everyone in attendance,? he continued. ?My relationship with the media is not always easy but im trying. Im all about the music and the performance and i respect my fans.?

He ended by writing, ?I never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. and Im not okay with things being exaggerated. once again sorry for anyone upset.?

First he was just a talentless kid who got famous. Now he is talentless kid who is now a spoilt brat.

Also the hat he is wearing? Who does he think he is Brian Harvey?

Like all these poppy bands, they soon fade away when their fan base either grows up or finds another "heart throb" to follow.

He's not doing very good over here in the UK. He got knocked back from a nightclub in Manchester because he 'shuffles on stage' .. it was of course, just a publicity stunt by the club, a very good one at that, because everyone is talking about it. however, because of these little incidents he's been in the news quite a bit.

The social media uproar has been hilarious, i've got to laugh at grown blokes bashing their keyboards with hatred for Bieber.. i don't think YOU are his target audience, mate, so give it a rest.

He's getting dangerously close to becoming a scumbag. Once he starts hanging out with Lindsey Lohan, he'll seal the deal.

"dangerously close" Hmmm in my opinion him and all the rest already are...... .What a world we live in when some overpaid kid waste regular peoples time in this way ,and of course there is always an excuse. Ohhhhh its not my fault its the roadies fault or my PR guy or my manager but never the "stars" fault. SAD SAD SAD go figure and now me and the rest are wasting time talking about this " scumbag".

Thanks for tagging your user name bro, I would have never figured out what it was otherwise.

Welcome to Neowang.

You may be the first one to ever bash Bieber as a first post. You sir, have my respect. :D

So, was his tweet about him being scheduled for 9:35pm correct? Were there actually 3 opening bands before his? If what he said is right, then waiting around an extra 40 mins would be more-or-less common place in the US.

Just saying...

My step-daughter loves Bieber (has like 3 posters of him up in her room), but she is at that age. I haven't listened to the guy but I assume I wouldn't like his style because I was never into Justin Timberlake when I was younger.

    • Carol, Windows XP is still being used today only in a small capacity. It is still the best OS there is due to its backwards compatibility with other older software, the customization features, and friendly UI, and people often feel that upgrading to newer OSes is cost prohibitive in specialized Industries or developing countries, so the market share as of now is around 0.2%-0.3%
    • If I could, I would commemorate it the best way possible: Replacing old machines that are still running Windows XP with something more modern, stable and better.     Noone and nothing should be running Windows XP in 2026.
    • Google's new hand-wave reCAPTCHA can be bypassed with a stock photo by Ivan Jenic Image: Screenshot Google is testing a new reCAPTCHA method that asks you to wave at your camera to prove you're human. So, besides solving puzzles and reading distorted text, you can now use your computer’s camera to pass the verification test. When the hand gesture verification is triggered, your browser asks for camera access and prompts you to perform a simple gesture, like a wave or an open palm. Google says it records a short video of the movement and uses AI to extract 21 hand-knuckle coordinates to complete the verification process. The video is then immediately deleted, and Google swears it doesn't keep it. The process alone can be uncomfortable for people who wouldn’t want their biometric data, which hand scans technically qualify as, recorded. But it gets even more nuanced, as early testers discovered that the new hand-waving reCAPTCHA can be passed with a simple stock image. A user on X tested the new challenge using a stock image of a hand fed through OBS Virtual Camera, and it passed. I wanted to verify it, so I tried the same thing. It took me a few tries and a few stock images, but in the end, I was also able to pass the test. I simply had to readjust the stock image of a generic person waving inside OBS, and Google’s mechanism registered it as a legitimate hand gesture. Once again, it didn’t even have to be a video or an AI-generated hand animation. Given the simplicity of the process, the entire action can be automated in minutes. All it takes is a simple Python script to render the new reCAPTCHA method obsolete. And it doesn’t even have to be an AI bot, which is usually used for solving puzzles and other verification methods. The new reCAPTCHA method is still in its early phase, and Google will, hopefully, update its AI to at least reject still images. However, this incident, combined with users’ initial skepticism about Google’s practices regarding user data, likely won’t make too many people wave at the camera anytime soon.
