Thunderbird nightlies now have updated theme!

Question

Here we go. 10/18 nightly of Thunderbird has the new version of its Qute theme, which I think looks much better. Some issues with the theme, but that will be fixed in the coming days. Also, the devs have fixed 33 bugs in 0.9, getting us ever closer to 1.0.

I'd wait for 1.0 if you don't want to deal with bugs right now. However, its pretty stable, so if you can deal with some glitches, go right ahead.

Cool - doesnt look like a massive leap

Correct. Word is that this is just a temporary, better looking version to use for the 1.0 release. The guys who are doing Winstripe for Firefox will most likely do the same for Thunderbird, however, that will not happen till a later 1.X release in the Summer or possibly even later.

Thunderbird is nice... I use it as my default client... but it would be amazing if the Vertical view was just like Outlook 2003's; that is just the nicest layout I have seen in an email program.
