Windows Desktop Search review?

Hi. I just installed WDS on windows xp (sp2). Does it use too much memory/CPU? Is hard drive active all the time (because of indexing)? Does it worth it?

And does it index PDF files? Thanks.

Most desktop search reviews I have read are pure rubbish. Just times and

match counts. None of the fun stuff. SlowMotion video, Random. File move

capabilities. URL and email archiving.
