I just grabbed the XChange.. tell you what, it does look pretty slick! The typewriter without having to have the propack ;) or evaluation marks is nice!!

Just started looking at - but tell you want, from a quick look, it might be better than foxit.. Seem their website needs a bit of work, was not seeing any of the images on the viewer section?? And the download I had to right click to work, etc.

As to a creator - I would vote for PDFcreator

I don't use Adobe Acrobat because it's too expensive I think. I have MS Word 2007, so I can save the doc. as PDF directly.

But if I wanna edit PDF, usually I'll change it to Word format.

Both Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader are ok for me to read PDF. They are all free and useful.

Best PDF reader now would be PDF-XChange PDF Viewer http://www.docu-track.com/home/prod_user/pdfx_viewer/

pdfxchange cannot render text well, neither can foxit reader! best pdf printer for some added functionality, such as spliting pdf and... well, pretty much anything you can wish to do, is pdfcreator - download from sourceforge. as for the best viewer, adobe reader still has the edge for me - text quality, ease of use, browser integration, thumbnails - coupled with pdfcreator you can't go wrong.

Second this. I actually use the admin-oriented version, BioPDF. Hasn't let me down much, unlike PDFcreator and CutePDF. Works with all sorts of relevant input files with all sorts of text and graphics.
