McAfee Vs Norton in System Resources

Hi All!

I find that McAfee AntiVirus 9 Professional + McAfee Firewall Plus take approx. 66 MB in Memory usage.

What about Norton?

I dunno, but McAfee av + firewall is way way way to much processes!

you can go "Task Manager -> Processes"

if i understand your Question.

personally, i find both bloated but not very good at the job they do.

For an even better picture, might as well throw in virtual memory and CPU Time. Memory usage is going to vary from person to person due to memory management.

just use a standalone ver of mcafee/norton av/firewall... it'll eat up less resource. I myself use only NAV, IMO i think it's running fine too.
