So, when I saw the windows update history, there was ( and there is ) an update KB933928 about the windows validation experience. Now you can see this :

This appears in the desktop corner and it says " Your windows copy isn't genuine ".

Now that's not true, and i can prove it with other thing . Let's se the control panel:

Here it says " Your windows is activated ". I can't activate windows without a valid key ....

Now let's see the Microsoft's "Genuine" website.

Here I don't need to translate nothing. " You may now access resources for genuine Windows users. "

So why does this appear in the desktop ???

A valid key, no notifications from the WGA, just a little text in the desktop corner. Strange.

P.S.: Bought from a retail store. Includes a label from Microsoft with the Product Key.

P.S.2 : Maybe that's why custom ms styles don't work more. They messed up in the styles to display this pesky message if you don't have a valid copy.

[ I don't know if in your country you use P.S., but it comes from latin Post Scriptum and means after writing. So it's like a note ]
