When Scott McCall is convinced by his best friend, Stiles, to join a search in the woods for a missing body, something comes out of the darkness to take a bite out of his side. As strange abilities begin to take affect the next day, Scott meets the beautiful new girl in town, Allison, whose family secrets further complicate his life.

I thought it was quite cool. The Stiles character is a lot different to the film character, seems to be the more clever, brains of the series, rather than the crazed party dude of the films. I'll be an optimist and look forward to seeing where this goes!

yeah episode 2 was good...I wonder what Derek is if not a wolf...he doesn't seem to be like a wolf

Just watched episode 2 aswell. I think Derek's definitely a wolf, just a lot more maturer than Scott. Liking the series so far, should be good! :yes:

Only watched the first episode and tbh I completely felt like I was watching Buffy but with wolves. It was uninspired. BUT it was just the first episode so I will give it the benefit of the doubt

i've watched the first 4 episodes, I too expected it to be terrible, but it's actually been decent sofar. Would've be crap if it was vampires.

Anyone know if it's been renewed? It's definitely a major step up in quality for MTV. They'd be crazy not to renew.

MTV considers doubling 'Teen Wolf' season 2 to 24 episodes

Deadline reports that MTV is seriously considering doubling its order of episodes for Teen Wolf season two from 12 to 24 episodes.

The site reckons that, ?there are discussions to expand the order to 24 episodes, which would be filmed back-to-back with a short hiatus between them.?

The show as MTV?s highest-rated new series this season until breakout hit Awkward came along, averaging about 1.7 million viewers per episode (which is pretty astonishing for MTV). And SFX thought that, after a shaky start, it actually developed into a pretty good show.
