I wasn't going to watch 48mins of Youtube but I did, very well done.

Yeah, Joe makes some great content. Used to watch a lot of his videos but haven't as of late.

No swearing in videos, guys. Getting tired of saying it.

Could just stop trying to enforce silly rules then. It's getting super ridiculous. ;)

Pretty sure i broke at least 5 rules by stating this and will get 5 warning points.

Please discuss the article here, not the rules of the forum.

How can anyone do that when the article doesn't exist anymore?

None of the feedback on rules was distasteful, and after a long spell of not enforcing policy like this I would have thought some feedback and discussion from the users would have been appreciated. It's not as if it was feedback on a rule of not posting warez. Simply mass deleting any constructive feedback is extremely poor, at least in the interim period of us noticing these changes being enforced for the first time (swearing has been banned on the forum for a long time, but externally linked content hasn't). Sure the admins own the site and I'm guessing conversations between mods is going on behind the scenes, but one topic with some feedback from users could at least have let a discussion go for different viewpoints. The last I'll say but I did find it quite weak moderation right now is just saying take it or leave it, we won't even have a public discussion and either refute or acknowledge points of view.

All the site will do is force traffic elsewhere if we cannot discuss the large personalities or (adult) games that are in our industry in detail

Does this rule for example apply to any videos in the Game of Thrones topic that contain swearing? (such as this post) I understand sex scenes being banned, but what about swearing and violence?

My point was to bring it up in a sites & forum issues post, not a thread discussing the top 10 gaming controversies of 2014.

However, I do see your point that the video has been removed for copyright reasons. That will kill the discussion regardless of whether the content was embedded on the site or linked externally.
