New website - easy to update

Question

I've been asked to put something together for a mates business.  A pub, they want a website - easy to update with events and news, maybe a gallery.

I've been working on larger projects, and this will be a nice little one to do.  I would previously have just said meh and used Wordpress - is that still valid?

Thanks

Could have content updated from a facebook page for the company, easy for them and using a system they know; parse the information accordingly and then you're on your way. Wouldn't take more than a week if you did a custom design, responsiveness and some barebones SEO. Not to say that a CMS isn't a good idea (excellent if they want a ton of pages) but if it' a one page sort of ordeal you can use this strategy to help them keep their content current.

I agree with nosense. I have used both and Drupal is more of a framework and not at all user friendly. If they want it easy to update, WordPress is the way to go.
