Nutshell
To be kind, this mouse is not ubiquitous. Most people would not want it, but I do. Very much. It's a 4-button wireless optical mouse. Model RM-802. The brand name is "Rockfire" but it might be sold under other names. The mouse I'm using now is an old Kensington, and my only regret is not buying several while they were still available. It has one big thumb button which I use for the double-click. Notice the RM-802 has the same design. A Google search will list two suppliers. I ordered from the guy in Louisana. His warehouse was destroyed by a flood and roof collapse. The other company on the list will not respond to emails and their website has problems. Actually, I prefer corded mice. I don't like mice designed for either hand because they are just oval blobs with no curve for your thumb. All I really want is a right-handed mouse with a large thumb button. Maybe there are other suppliers for RM-802. If not, can someone recommend a similar mouse?

If not, can someone recommend a similar mouse? It's probably too much, but the thumb rest of the new Logitech mouse is one large button. That's the biggest I know. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/articles/mx-master-immersion-guide

trag3dy
Depending on your price range you should take a look at some of the Logitech mice. There is likely one to fit your needs. But I would suggest buying from amazon or somewhere else as they will probably be cheaper. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/mice
FiB3R
There is a setting within Windows that allows you to use single click instead of double. Not sure if that is of any interest to you.
Anibal P
Pretty much any "gamer" mouse has a thumb button, it's like you didn't really look for anything but this particular mouse
Nutshell
FunkyMike, after I ordered several mice from that small business in Louisana, I discovered his warehouse was effectively destroyed by flooding. I logged into my PayPal account. They immediately refunded my money. The two Google listings for this mouse include showtimepc.com. Just to make sure I would actually receive my order, I sent them an email. After a few days I sent another. No reply to either message. I can't order from a small business that ignores emails from potential customers. Most of the better quality mice available today have two narrow thumb buttons side-by-side. I guess millions of people like this design, but I don't. I'm not clumsy at all, but I can imagine constantly pressing the wrong button or both at the same time. I don't know why mice with a single, easy to press thumb button have almost vanished.
HawkMan
but I can imagine constantly pressing the wrong button or both at the same time. I suggest you try it, while you might imagine that's an issue, in reality it isn't at all. There's also the G700 though it's more expensive, it has very large distinctive, but, still very comfortable buttons.
Mindovermaster Moderator Posted April 19, 2015 Moderator Share Posted April 19, 2015 Ever try macro a key to both buttons? So no matter which one you press, does same thing? xendrome 1 Share
iogbrideau
How big can your thumb be that you'd press both buttons at the same time? I have pretty big hands and never had any issues like that with my Logitech M500. On top of that you can change what buttons do with Logtech SetPoint.
