Hurmoth Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 Alright, I have been trying to install Virtual PC 2004 and it keeps giving me an error telling me that the InstallScript engine on the machine is older than the version required to run setup. The above InstallShield support article says it is caused by corruption, and provides a download for the InstallScript runtime if it is out of date. @Ajay: The Microsoft article is very unhelpful, and basically tells you how to kill the isscript.msi package entry and gives the "third-party run-around".
