Starbucks? I was under the impression they were t-mobile hotspots you had to pay to use?

If anyone is in the Gainesville, FL area, Oxford Cafe on 16th Ave (off University) has free WiFi... I also recommend the CooNooMooNoo shake... oh yeah.

Nice to hear, hopefully Ill be accepted to UF next year. Are there any other hotspots on the campus? And off?

Theres a Cafe Near me on the other side of Lake Tarpon that offers free wifi. But other other than that, its all either t-mobile or other pay service.

i offer free wifi for those who can crack my 13 digir alpha numeritc password on the router (its similar to B4FGI975FJ8)

/me wonders if he realizes that its not really his password, its his encryption key

Yeah, this is true at a lot of coffeehouses now, about 3 in my town, Bloomington-Normal, IL, have WiFi. Actually, lol, the funny thing is, I live about 150 feet from one, and I can actually access the WiFi network from my apartment, although the speed is ridiculously slow considering I'm at about the limit of the range.

Most of campus has wireless... except the dorms, but that could be fixed with an antenna of some sort I suppose since it surrounds the buildings... really, the only thing you'd need wireless for in dorms is unrestricted downloading... the dorm network is faster but you can only use IRC effectively without being shutdown instantly (that I've figured out anyway, without a VPN). Search for ICARUS on google if you are interested. You should check out the following sites though
