Simpson's Movie... in 2007

NEW YORK (AP) -- Lisa Simpson will still be eight when "The Simpsons" movie comes out -- but the rest of us will be a lot older.

Writers are working on the movie now, according to Yeardley Smith, who voices Lisa. But they won't start making the film until after the series is over -- and she says the series still has at least two seasons to go.

three years? surely their (the writers') ideas would have totally depleted by then. i mean, what could their movie possibly be about? :ermm:

However, she [Yeardly Smith] just hopes people won't be sick of the Simpsons, now in its 15th season, by the time the movie comes out.

btw - i am aware about another post relatinging to the Simpsons movie, though this post is discussing it's long release date.

Well at least they will be doing it when the series is over. I think too many people will have too high expectations for it because of the show being such a success. If they do it now, it will just kill the Simpsons :/

What the hell is up with people and animation quality! Who cares how it looks! Sounds just like the people that complain about if a game doesn't have good graphics, they wont play it.
