Hey pulp....Ye Kareemah is a females name (My wifes actually).

Comes from the Arabic root word Karuma (K-R-M) meaning Noble.

On the Arabic "scale" it means "He was noble" for the female it is Karumat ("She was noble") Kareemah is the doer of the action (hence Noble) therefore Kareemah is a Noble Person....and she is.

:-) Just some Arabic Grammar for you.

i like this theme :)

there are a few things i would like point out that might need a little work (or are personal preferences :) )

-i would ditch the drop shadow on the title bars. it makes the inactive title bar almost impossible to read with the colors you have chosen. if not get rid of the drop shadow, at least lessen the offset by a considerable amount so you still have the shadow, but text is easier to read.

-this is a personal preference on my part, but i like the titles to be centered on the titlebar. i just think it looks a little better :)

-on the all sub-menus on the startmenu, you have a blue border on the left. would it be possible to either make the entire menu a gradient or all one color? again just a personal preference :)

-the orange/pink highlights could stand to be changed to a different color. i am not sure that the color goes with the rest of the theme

those are the only things i that i have noticed so far. i do not mean to be critical, i am just pointing out things for you and suggesting possible improvements :)

First of all thanx for using my theme. I really appreciate the USEFULL suggestions. I will take your suggestions into consideration - the centrerd text (a definite), the drop shadow ( i know does need some attention, the blue border on the start menus (i had a fade but it looks stronger without the fade (:-) that stays - sorry), the orange (i had to add introduce another colour - contrasting one so i chose orange. I think that colur works for me and many others.......it also had to be a strong colour so thats it.....

Thanks again

mmmm i know the screenshot is small but i wanted to get the whole theme in as a complete design - not just the title bars and a button like in the Appearence window. Also showing the wallpaper.....

Did you download the theme??

yep i downloaded it and used it for a few hours of normal use to see what the style was like. otherwise it would be hard to get a good feel for what it's like.

on the orange issue, for me it looks sort of pink, rather than a definite orange ( i don't know about other people, and it may just be my monitor that makes it look pink toned) so thats why i made a mention of it. for example, if i have a trillian window selected the button on the taskbar shows up a light blue. when i get messaged, then it starts flashing orangish-pink. this color combination did not work for me, so that is why it stood out so strongly for me. if the orange was little more towards red then it would not be so "problematic" for me :)

as to the left border on menus, its really not a problem so much as a preference and since you are are the creator of the theme, if you say it stays then it stays. like i said, its just a preference :)

anyways, i will be looking forward to future updates of this theme.

keep up the good work.

:)

    • It does invite Linux because MS should have been improving their products all along these years instead chose to ignore the users now this year they’re making all of these improvements to their products where as Linux doesn’t have this kind of problems in fact it has gotten so good I can even play Windows games in Steam that I no longer ever needed Windows to carry on with my life, unlike you still use Windows and chose to try beat down down those who don't use Windows because they love their LG TV. (Surprisingly I actually own a 55” LED LG TV and it has been going strong for almost 14 years, longer than any Sony TV”)
    • As much as I love owning my own hardware, it's hard to argue with the value. I'm not a huge gamer, I'd actually be interested in a cheaper plan with limited monthly hours, or even a pay-by-the-hour plan.
    • Well, they (LibreOffice/The Document Foundation) are bitchy and whiny, yes, but they're right, at least this time. It doesn't make sense to market something as "free and open source to thwart dependency on foreign companies' software" but at the same time, using the formats of said companies (Microsoft) by default. That way, you are changing nothing, essentially, you're just using another UI. We all know that users just use the defaults and almost never change them. I'm not saying they should drop other formats altogether, but they shouldn't default to the thing they're trying to run away from in the first place. If you're gonna do something, just go all the way in, don't stop in the middle, IMO. Otherwise, shut up and move along.
