Mine has been an ongoing process for about a year now. The center of my arm contains kind of a tribal design with a face shadowed inside of it. Around that is several things blending into it, varying from a grim reaper, to a graveyard with a swirling sky, demons, trapped souls, skeletons, etc. It to me represents a life after death, although not a pleasant one. All my work has been hand needled, and doesn't use the trashy common ink you see in most places. Right now its a 1/2 sleeve, and i'll be beginning on the lower arm in the coming weeks, starting with most of the outlines. I'm the kind of person that likes to let the artist work, seeing where his imagination will take him, rather than choosing the typical out of the "Big Book Of Tattoos" that everyone gets these days (ie butterflies on the neck, tribal on the lower back, and other crap) Someday I hope to have both arms covered, perhaps my back too.

I know the guy that did my tattoos and he was telling me his "rules". If its a football badge or something "****", then he charges them like £10 more. If he likes the design, then he does it quite cheap. I had money knocked off because he knows me anyway, but he knocked an extra £5 off because he loved the design. |

Somehow I associate an iron cross with germany and war O_o but i'm probably totally wrong about that. Anyways, I'd never get a tatoo, but imo everyone should do what they like the best, so.. have fun with your new tat ^_^

Now it's commonly associated with clothing brands, and other such related things. |
