Change the look of my win2k plz

my win2k desktop is very bad :angry:

earlier when i used xp i cud change skins and made it beautiful.

wat can i do to make the win2k desktop greet me everyday with new style..

i cant install windowblinds.. its memory hogging isnt it..

also i wud like to have a desktop with calendar and analog clock on it.

analog clock which makes sounds every hour..

There are all kinds of software you can use to customize your w2k pc.

I know because i have.

First it'd be nice if you spend some time and energy optimizing your pc.

Such as making sure it's properly defragged and configged.

My favorite tool is Tune Up Utilities 2004 to get me set and configed.

Then i use tclock2 to customize start button, clock, with calendar options.

DesktopSidebar, i sometimes use, from http://www.desktopsidebar.com

I also use Iconoid to help orient desktop icon text to be transparent.

and I just downloaded FastFolders and ShellObjectEditor.

There's always new/old tools out there, just have to have an optimized computers, and pick the best tools for what you need.

WIndows blinds is not a memory hog. That is a vicous lie, try it, u probably won't even notice it

^^ I've read several times that is actually faster and uses less memory than the built in XP theming service.
