Which one of those cameras is the best overall? *From what I've read and seen, the HP R707 seems to be pretty good* If not, what camera would you recommend? [Around the 375-400, Range Canadian]

If you get the Fuji, get the E550. It has a Super CCD rather than the normal one.

I think the Canon S410/500 or Canon A95 would fit better on that list than the A85.

But if I had to choose, I'd go for the S410 for it's price, size, and quality.

The A95 is excellent too, but is a bit bulky. But its plethora of manual features make up for it.

The S410/500 provides superb quality for an ultra-compact. But it's got almost no manual features.

The Fuji E550 is relatively high rated too. It's nicely sized and provides almost every manual feature. Except there are complaints about its low light performance as it does not have the autofocus light.

I've never used the HP, but it's received good reviews.

It'd help more if we knew more details: whether you want manual features or not.
