Terminal Services from outside intranet?

Recommended Posts

I can log on to my home computer using Terminal Services on my Aximx50v by entering in my IP address assigned by my router.. how can I gain access to my PC if I'm on a different wireless network.. say, for example, I'm on the network at my school (wirelessly with my PPC), is it still possible to log in to my PC via TS client?

I think it's so awesome doing it from here.. if I could do it from elsewhere, that'd be extremely helpful.

thanks.

I ran unreal tournament 2003 on my pocket pc : (highly useless thing to do and unconventional)

or you could forward port 3389 (terminal service) on your router to your pc, and just terminal into your outside IP (easily gotten from your home pc by going to whatismyip.com ) Or better yet, if your IP changes a lot, get a url at dyndns.org and get a client to update your IP when it changes, then you could always go to, say, excessdl.gotdns.com and it would automatically update to your pcs IP, no other software needed :)
