The process was not perfect and I already know how to make things a lot better for next year. Although I came up with the idea and headed it all up, it was an impossible task to accomplish alone. I would like to personally thank Mr. Magoo (Tom Graham), blackice912, and Agentsmith for all their help. I would also like to thank all 1,100+ of you who voted. It was a much larger turnout than I could have ever expected. I will be getting in touch with the publishers and such starting tomorrow. Acceptance speeches will be appended if any are submitted. There are other games with a much greater focus on sound, ambience, and mood-fitting awe inspiring music. As for me, I'm just happy it's over. I woke up at 11am this morning and worked straight through till 3pm. Tom Graham and I conference called over skype with Tom Warren a bit and then individual calls back and forth all afternoon. Poor him having to deal with me lol. It clearly shows even though the amout of people are still bickering about Half Life 2 it came out on top and won hands down... Good results and nice reading... Therefore, Halo 2 is limited to the hardware of the Xbox and Half-Life 2 has virtually unlimited resources. I agree, Half-Life 2 is a great PC game, but you cannot compare (in my opinion) PC games to console games.
