Best sub 350 (USD) MP3 player

Recommended Posts

I am in the market for a good MP3 player, I have been saving for a few months to buy me a new PC, but I decided to postpone my upgrade a year+ mainly 'cause I want it to be perfect for Longhorn..... I have a Toshiba e405 PDA witch I have used it also as my MP3 player for a year and a half it served me well but now I want all my music on the go.

I have been using WMP for a long time and I am very happy with it, that's why I would like to know witch player to get, An Ipod would be my choice but the fact that it can't handle WMP and wma disqualifies it, I have nothing against apple in fact I bought a Ipod mini as a gift for my brother but it's not my thing. What I am looking for is:

-sub 350 US dollars

-Windows Media Player compatible (playlist wise and stuff)

-wma and mp3

-future proof (I know that this is impossible in the electronic world but I wouldn't get another player for a while so if you know that a new model is coming soon and it's worth the wait I would consider it)

-big storage 20 GB or more,

Thanks in advance

PD: if you can list why should I buy that player would be great :D

Dammit, if it only came out two months ago :(

The H320 shouldn't even be compared to the F40, they're in two different leagues. The only DAPs that can challenge the F40 is iAudio X5 and Rio Chroma, and we know little about them so far.
