Creative Zen Micro Firmware

Hi

I have finally purchased my silver Creative Zen Micro and flashed the BIOS to 1.02.05. I have now seen the Play For Sure BIOS and it mentions how could it is for WMP10, but iam wondering if any of you have flashed to this BIOS and if so whats the difference , also i heard it takes up more space on the storage, is this true?

I couldn't get WMP10 to transfer correctly, it always got stuck at 100%. Personally I prefer just using the Creative software.

Using Creative's software is soooo much easier. Using PlayForSure/WMP is such a headache. Mine is flashed to 1.01.05 and have no problems what so ever.

I've updated to the PlaysForSure/MTP Firmware 2.00.12, I had a couple of initial problems where WMP would stop transfering after about 5 songs and the device had a firmware issue on startup. After a second load of the firmware the device is now running well. Transfers via WMP on any machine.

It goes very well without it, creative explorer is way better then windows media player ! Hope you enjoy your zen :yes:
