well, i have a 3g 20gb ipod, and i like it, but whenever i see the photo i mostly like how it shows album art. I say ipod photo. but if you are willing to stray away from apple, check out the iAudio M3 (no screen but remote with screen) or the iAudio M5 (nice color screen) both are about the size of an ipod

I agree. The iAudio M3 is a very nice product. I'm listening to music on it right now, and the output is very high quality. It also supports a wide variety of audio files.

I haven't tried either the M5 or the iPod Photo, so I can't give you any sort of comparison.

If you are able to dish out a lot of cash into a DAP then I suggest you get an iAudio X5.

Take a look at iRiver products instead, H320 or H340

It's colour, does Photo and plays video, and cheaper than the standard iPlod

And it's better quality, and it plays Ogg Vorbis, WAV and other formats Apple refuse to move to, and it's not DRM locked*, and it can encode MP3 on the fly, and it has a built in FM radio, and it doesn't need a computer, and it doesn't need software like the iPod, and you can plug digital cameras straight into it (USB on the go), and it works on Any PC without pre-installation, and it works like plugging in a USB hard drive (no special format, it's FAT32 so works on anything).

Oh, and it's cheaper.

Don't follow the rest of the sheep, move to the dark side ;)

(* if you don't know what DRM is, wait till you buy the iPlod and kick yourself you wished you'd bought a iRiver)
