StuffIt Expander Issue

A couple .sit files I have expanded have made folders with nothing in them. By accident I created a new folder in the expanded folders and the information that SHOULD have been in there just appear out of no where. I have reinstalled Stuffit (latest build 9.0.2?) and Tiger. Anyone else have this problem?

Yep, I am having the same issue here, it is extracting them, they are just hidden, I had to use cocktail to enable hidden items in finder.

All I have to do is create a new folder in the expanded folder and BAM, the files appear.

Pretty much everyone is getting this problem. Of course, Allume didn't bother to FIX it when they released the 9.0.2 update, but what else is new. I think that is one of the main reasons that Apple seems intent on migrating users away from Stuffit in favor of disk images and Zip files.
