good monster truck / off road racing games

I'm a big fan of off road racing games and like the colin mcrae series but I want to get into some monster truck or motocross games. I really liked the idea of it's obstacle tracks (i forget the real name for that) but it was a bit out dated. I only want quite recent games, could anyone recommend some good ones?

Yeah Monster Truck madness was great it was the game that really got me into gaming lol I loved that game. I havent played it in ages though.

That 4x4 good, with the Landcruisers and Rangerovers, sorry i can't remember the proper name. Was nd i only had a demo.

*Edit* I think it was the original of this game there is a new version. Can't vouch for this one though.

4x4 evo 2 is the one your thinking of, I think?

There is another kind of hybrid racer out there... its called Flatout and you can grab the demo @ Http://www.bhmotorsports.com

It is a cross between a stunt racer and rally game but has very good driving physics and is very fun to play aswell.

very, plus it isn't even hard on hardware. 2xAA 4xAF at 1024x768 on high and there is basically no lag!

I thought that Insane was also a pretty good & fun off road game. :)
