A while back I got the domain name www.guardianlegends.com with yahoo. I bought and setup the domain to be forwarded to some webspace my ISP gives me and then I loged out.

I recently wanted to changed it from being forwarded to my webspace to a server I had setup localy.

I find out I cannot login, I knew I did not have any email from yahoo when I made the account so I knew something was up. I tried doing a password recovery but it told me my account has been diactivated :|

I was really wondering why I did not get a single email from yahoo, I did a Whois lookup on my domain and the email address is [email protected] insted of [email protected]

I go and try and sign up again to see why I might of miss typed my email and it only asks for your email once no confirmation :|. I always type my email right and the confirimation usualy just bugs me if anything but everyone has it.

Now I have no idea how to get into my setup for the domain because my account is diactivated because of my never confirming it because I had a typo on my email. I have looked all over their site for a phone # to contact to get this fixed and cannot find one only ones about sales :|. All the Q and A on the website tells me retarted info like "passwords are case sensitive please rember that when entering your password". That's not exactly what it said but useless help info for me. I have e-mailed them and I get the Q and A copied and pasted into an email :|.

Please help me out if you have any ideas to get my account back or even get yahoo to remove my domain so I can register it with someone else. A good phone # to conatact yahoo would be great. Thank you!

They did the same with me, I have with them more than 15 domains all I lost it, They said they will not give me my domains or my money.

I called them and every one give me case number. but no way to get my domains back

Today I got mail from them :-

18668498258 ............ they told me we dont know why you better call 18668008092 and then they told me that I cant have my domains back again and after three month it will be avalible to buy it again.

      Close, but it is for any application starting, not just during boot time. In fact, it probably will not improve boot time at all because during a boot, the CPU is already boosting, so a pre-boost wouldn't change anything. I agree that it isn't exciting (especially considering every other OS already does it), but it is a good thing, even if they are just playing catch up.

      Any so called performance increase will be in milliseconds, which nobody will actually notice in real world usage.

      All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....

      It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before passing someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.
