Contest: Logo Creation for a Dental Practice

Question

First off thank you for checking out this post. Having read through some of these posts I am hoping this is the way to go about this. I need an identity kit for a dental practice.

Please start out with just a general logo. I will pick the one that I like and the winner will provide the following:

I need Logo / Business Card / Stationary / Brochure / Web Logo

The practice name is Premiere Family Dental.

Style

1. Clean

2. Uncluttered

3. Classy

Open to color suggestions, but nothing to wild or bright.

The Busniness card:

Either single or double sized, front: logo, 2 dentist names, contact info and website url

Envelopes:

one sided, no window, logo

Stationary:

Logo and 2 dentist names on top, address and contact info on the bottom

Brochure: front and back and text for the inside

Web Logo: must be similar in size shape etc... to Image

Reprint restrictions:

Look good in relief

Look good in b&w

Easy to reproduce on any medium

Desired file format(s):

Prefer PNG - it must be easily scaleable!!!

Payement will be via Paypal

Thanks Again,

Phillip

P.S. This is for my father's dental practice, the logo will be viewable at http://www.premierefamilydental.com

Simple text logo. Professional though. Can be any color.

Top left: Black and White

Top right: Royal Blue, professional

Bottom Left: Earthy

Bottom right: Comforting

Needs some tweaking, the kerning kinda ran some stuff together in a narsty way.

Looking for something a little more, not just plain text. Similar to the other entries. Thanks.

--AppleDave--

Not crazy about the Fonts. If you could straighten out the P and make it bolder somehow. On my screen the outside edges of the tooth are grainy, is there a way to smooth it out? Also like the tooth to be fully formed not come together at points. Thanks.

--Lifes Lemon--

Premiere spelled incorrectly. The tooth looks very realistic, was looking for something more abstract, similar to cybadelic and jrowa. Thanks.

--cybadelic--

Like it, could you put the i in premiere. Also could you reduce the length of the tooth and give us some more options with "family dental" font. I am thingking bigger. Thanks.

--jrowa--

Will reply later this afternoon. Thanks.

Really like #1 and #2 of your designs, the bottom two are great as well just a little youthful for us. #1 not crazy about the lines that create the 3D tooth image. Is there anyway to change that up a bit. #2 Not a teal fan, any other color? Would there be a way to thicken the script font? Thanks.

--cybadelic--

Could you make the family dentistry text larger and would there be anyway to complete the outline of the tooth while still keeping it transparent and as part of the background. Really like it. Thanks.

--jukeboxhero52--

Would there be anyway to move the large "P" to the left side. He is not crazy about teal. Is there a similar font that doesn't have as much curvature? Thanks again.

--Popcorned--

Really like the design, unfortunately I think it is a little too modern for our look. See the above 3 comments, they are really similar to what we are looking for. Thanks again.

--AppleDave--

Not crazy about the teal, like the different font. Is there anyway to make it look more like a tooth and less like a heart? Thanks.

Again thank you all, really appreciate the effort!!

I went with a smile because I think having a single pulled out tooth represents a sort of negativity and pain, while a positive smile represents happiness and a positive outlook.

The colors are offcourse editable.

I like the logo but the big man little women is very confusing, almost looks like a washroom door sign.

No offence but that logo is exactly the same i saw on google images when searched for "dentist logos", it's exactly the same

spex04 love the last one! The only thing i dont like about them is the logo size, it is too small for the size of the letters, try to increase it ;)

Its supposed to portray the family aspect of the company. But if the contest holder wishes me to change I will.

--Jpac--

Looking for something a little more integrated and smooth. Just a bit too much going on for us. Thanks.

--spex04--

We like the one in the bottom right. Could we see it in blue instead. Alsocould we see a version with the ball on the left side of the text? How will it look in b&w? Thanks.

--jukeboxhero52--

Please see last page for comments as well. Apparently there is a bank around here that uses the same "P" logo. Could you cahnge the font? Thanks.

--cybadelic--

Consensus was that it need to look more like a tooth,I don't neccesarily agree, but I'm not the boss. What it be possible to shape up the outline of the tooth to something similar to what jrowa has. Thanks.

--Anthony--

Please change up the logoon the left side of the line. A tooth or a play on the letter "P"...Thanks again.

--PrimoTurbo--

Not quite what we are looking for, trying to stay very classic. Thanks.
