jordanspringer
Microsoft and Dell recently partnered up to create a super-cool custom PC in celebration of Microsoft releasing Windows Vista to manufacturing earlier this month. Our own Sean Alexander had a friend on the Windows Team forward on some pictures and information regarding the high end PC. Here are the system specs:Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 Processor 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX 4GB RAM Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM @ 667mhz 1Terabyte RAID0 SATA HDDs (2x500MB) 48x Combo + 16x DVD+/-RW Double Layer Burner Dual TV Tuners (Analog) Dell 30" Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor Full 5.1 Surround Sound This PC screams -- it has a Windows Experience Index rating of 5.2! pyehac
If I push the top, will it fall down? Why don't the likes of Dell and HP offer smaller computers?
Vice
Horrible case, E6700 & 7900GTX? You would think Microsoft could spring for an 8800GTX and an overclocked QX6700.
lostspyder
It doesn't look very vistay or microsofty, it looks like they took a normal case and put a giant sticker on the side of it. I'm unimpressed, they could have designed a much cooler looking case.
FlibbyFlobby
They should have used the new elegant Vista logo to much better effect. Slapping it on a black plastic PC case doesn't give any wow factor at all.
Shane Pitman
This PC screams -- it has a Windows Experience Index rating of 5.2! Yeah, they should have beefed it up a bit more. My notebooks WEI rating as as good as this thing. :/
