SirEvan Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 I've reinstalled vista probably 50 times in the last 2 months, every time because it keeps locking up on me during games, movies, or at just random times....i couldn't figure out the problem (it worked fine in safe mode, and running memtest, but not in regular mode. I was about to slap down 500$ for a new c2d and motherboard, and scrap my amd system, thinking it might be my motherboard, but then i tried flashing the bios back 2 versions, (I had the most recent bios flashed) and now it works perfectly....just something you guys might try if you have problems with vista just freezing up all the time. x-byte Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 I've come over an issue like that on another forum where the same problem occur. The problem was the Western Digital disk. I see that you also have this. But I can post about this in the other forum to see of that helps anyone. I think there was two users that had the excatly the same problem.
