ShifLinux sounds good, how do I virtualise it?

Just as a general note, alot of software isn't available in the 64-bit flavor yet (flash player, for example) so it is generally recommended that "newbies" install 32 bit Linux.

Actually it isn't lots of software... it's some here and there. And flashplayer 32-bit works if you run a 32-bit browser. I'm running Debian on a 64-bit system now and it works fine.

That's my experience, anyways.

That all dedends on your machine. I tried to install this thing 3 times, on 3 different machines. No go on all 3.

Installed Zenwalk 4.8 on 4 machines, then came across Blag70000, and installed it on the other 3 machines. Both those distros installed without a hitch and EVERYTHING worked out of the box!!

Indeed. Our installer on this edition is an alpha build and just doesn't hack it. We will change our installer on 0.6 and test it so that it will do the trick.
