I can't install windows Vista - plz help me...

Intell Inside Pentium4 2.66Ghz

1.25GB of RAM Kingston DDR

64MB NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000 VGA

40GB SAMSUNG SP0411N HDD (IDE)

SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio

SAMSUNG DVD+R (IDE)

SAMSUNG DVD+RW (SATA) (I removed this and try but not working)

PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse

Windows XP Pro SP2

When I start the Vista setup under Windows XP it goes for a while

and the computer begins to restart..After the restart a blue screen (stop screen)

appears and say the following error.

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your

computer.

Technical Information

*** STOP: 0x0000007B(0x854088A0,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

But when I try to boot the computer using a Vista DVD, the setup starts

and my Keyboard and Mouse stop responding..

when I try from Windows I get that blue screen and when I try to boot from

the DVD, my Keyboard and Mouse stop responding..

I did a RAM check and a HDD check and there are no errors or bad secters.

I change SATA to RAID but not working.

Can anybody tell me what the hell is going on..

Is this about SATA\RAID thing? or I can't install Vista for ever?...

It looks like Billy don't wanna fix it..

Well check out your bios first thing. Maybe reset your bios and then boot from disk and see wat happens. Try updating your bios that might also work. It might also be device driver error in your computer when you get BSOD when trying to install from windows xp. Are you using a usb keyboard and mouse? If so check bios is setup to be using usb keyboard and mouse. Try those first and see what happens and report back. Check the media disk also you have unless orginal disk from M$ then you might have to reburn or redownload and reburn that way.

you should boot that disc(vista) without being in windowsxp.

you created a bootup error. most likely your mbr is screwy.

you could also do a chkdsk /p/r with the xp setup disk.

i noticed that your hardware is very minimal for vista. you will not be able to use "Aero" with that hardware.
