No sound in any web browser

Ok So i am on Windows xp, all up to date. Two days ago randomly sounds/music stopped playing in every web browser. Like on youtube for example, videos load, but no sound. Other websites that have video play fine, but others dont play audio...What could cause this?

edit: I reinstalled flash, thinking that would fix it, and it didnt.

Have you tried reinstalling your Flash Player?

If you have a soundcard, did you make sure it's working?
