[how to] Sonata

I have had it! Im in need of a step by step guide on how to set up Sonata on Ubuntu 8.04.

I have googled and tried several times but i just cant do it.

apt-get install mpd sonata

then configure mpd.conf (in /etc probably) and run " mpd --create-db " and if it add's all songs from your music folder as mentioned in mpd.conf , then start mpd ( you can confirm that its running by telnet localhost 6600 ) and then start Sonata . Simple :p

you can put the files in the folder path specified in the mpd.conf or keep it the same and put a symlink in the folder linking to your mp3s.
