If anyone is ever in the U.S. or already lives in the U.S. and happen to visit Vermont try.

here in cleveland, the big thing is The Great Lakes Brewery. it's not too common outside of Ohio, but you can still find it in other states.

All of their beers are simply amazing. They have several seasonal beers that are only available at the brewery, which are always my favorites. Most, if not all, of their beers are above 5% ABV (Y) My roomates and I bought a keg of their 'Blackout Stout' back in February. If you can imagine, it's very very dark and about 9% alcohol

Around fall and winter they release a couple varieties of their beers that have been "bourbon barrel aged." Boy are those good too.

About a month before Halloween they release their 'Nosferatu.' It's definitely my favorite Great Lakes beer, and generally widely available.

Magic Hat a brewery in Vermont also will release a beer right before Halloween called Hokis Pokis. I am a huge Magic Hat fan love all of their beer.

what people thought is the best beer where you live.

I'm from Republic of Macedonia, and the best beer is definately SKOPSKO (Skopje is the name of our country's capital city).

As you can see HERE, I'm not the only one thinking that :)

Click here to visit it's official website (btw, ден = day, месец = month, година = year , you need to fill those blank spaces with nubers so you can enter the site)

The only beer from where I live now is just the big ones, but they aren't from here. But when i lived in Pennsylvania, there was the Yuengling Lager brewery, was fairly close. Its America's oldest brewery too! Damn good beer to boot..

I usually drink Unibroue beers, they're local to Quebec and quite popular, and mostly Belgian-style ales. My favourite brews are Fin du Monde and Maudite. If I have to get something more "macro" or on tap at pubs, it's usually Rickard's Red (it tastes great unlike Gold, White, etc.). If I need something cheap and easy to drink for partying etc., it'll be Molson Canadian. Usually the only import I bother getting is Hoegaarden.

The locals:

I love the beer from the Penn Brewery.

Penn Pilsner is probably my favorite from there. Followed by St. Nikolaus Bock.

Yuengling is alright.

Others:

I like the Great Lakes Beers, they were mentioned earlier, but they aren't really from my area. My favorite of the Great Lakes Beers is probably Nosferatu.

My favorite Brewing Company by far is Dogfish Head. They are located in Delaware.

My favorite every day beer from them is probably the Chicory Stout. I also Love their Raison D'Etra, Indian Brown Ale, and 90 Minute IPA. But the most intense of all is their Worldwide Stout and their 120 Minute IPA, both of which are around 20% alcohol. I like them a lot but at ~$140 a case I don't buy them often.

No offense but Canadian is a chix beer. It has next to no flavor and is way to smooth, its like drinking a lite beer.

Someone did mention Alexander Keiths which is good but imo Moosehead is much better. It has a very robust flavor much in the same way Stella does. That brewery also brews Carlsberg here and thats what I mostly drink. Sleemans is another good brewery that sells premium beers, try the Draught(bottle)

If your ever in Canada stay away from the budget beers and the 2 most pushed beers, Molson Canadian and Labatt Blue

    • lol it was a typo, fixed! haha imagine an actual 4TB Gen4 NVMe for $40 in 2026
    • Get over it, has nothing to do with my point.
    • I really don't like these rounded corners and huge borders in the viewport. They just waste space without anything in return.
