Is the Sony KDL-32L4000 any good?

I went to best buy the other day and saw a Sony KDL-32L4000 for only $685.99. I'm glad to see that HDTV prices are starting to go down now. I saw a Samsung 32" one as well for about $10 less, but it had fewer inputs, so I thought this Sony TV would be better. For those of you who have this HDTV, is this a good model?

Also, if this model is no good, can you please recommend a better 32" HDTV that has the same price range?

I guess since no one responded, people must not have it, and therefore it is probably a piece of junk (which shocks me since it's a Sony). I guess they're right. You do get what you pay for, no exceptions. So, the search for a good, low-budget HDTV still continues. If I have to wait another year or two to get an HDTV for a good price, then that's what I'll do.

I had this TV for about a week & returned it back to BB. It's a budget 32" with the Sony logo on it. Nothing really wrong with it, just that it's on par with a Westy, Insigna, lower end Toshiba's etc. I did get 6 stuck/dead pixels, but that can happen to any LCD today.

Decided to spend a couple of hundred dollars more & score the Panasonic TC-32LZ800 which is a completely different animal.

To be honest, I think for the extra $100.00 the Panasonic TC-32LX85 is a much better LCD then the Sony KDL-32L4000

So there you go, if you have $100 more, check the Panasonic.

I did google and not much info was found. And I'm not going to with Panasonic. It's either Sony or Samsung as I heard that they have the best LCDs

What I'm just going to do is wait another year or two. The more I wait, the cheaper HDTVs will get. I like saving. :)
