The latest review scores are in from EGM and both Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise and Tiger Woods '09 have tied for first place for their GOTM award. Too Human disappointed, as did FaceBreaker and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

All I can say is that I am now addicted to Tiger Woods, and that has not happened with a Tiger Woods game with me for quite some time. I have played the series since the beginning, and now maybe it is because I am older (LOL) and not much has come out, but I am addicted to ranking my players skills up. Also the whole new way of playing online while everyone else can go was GENIUS, makes it so much more damn fun.

I know me though, and I can be addicted to a game like this one today, and be done with it by next week, lets just hope that does not happen. But I literally went out and bought the full retail game after a weekend playing with my brother in law, and I am a member of Gamefly (rental service for video games) so I personally have not paid full retail price for a game since MGS4, but this game made me go out and do it.

The Good

* Great rewards system

* Pinatas are super cute

* Tons of depth and replay value

* Cooperative mode helps ease inexperienced players into the game

* Very impressive visuals, both technically and artistically.

The Bad

* The same basic game as the original

* Voice acting is terrible.

yeah i agree, i am addicted to tiger woods 09. I am just addicted to getting my guy better and better. Being able to crank the ball 30-40 yards more then Tiger makes me soooo happy.

8.5 for VP2 (Y), my copy is on it's way. Can't wait to play, I've not had anything new to play for months.
