Think I'd rather find it somewhere cheaper instead, I must have like 4 retail copies of Far Cry now, some bundled with GPU's, one I bought and the last one a friend gave me.

Yea I have a couple copies of Farcry, but meh, I like deals on Steam. And I hate it being a multiplatform game now, PC is the way to go! Cheaper would be nice but I don't care that much over 10bucks, cause I dont see it being any cheaper then that.

Why on earth would they make this region specific? I'd pre-order it hands down just because of FarCry 2... Getting Far Cry 1 is just a bonus (of course the XBOX version was WAY better with all the power ups etc)

The region specific is stupid, and as much as I like Valve I think it may only be them choosing that. Lets hope it changes like most games do.

That doesn't work anymore, ubisoft took it down and now when you try and install it it doesn't work when you put in your account, go ahead and try to install it:) just won't work.

Either way, it's just a cool extra thing for when you buy Farcry2.

no but you wouldn't but technically it's against the SSA as only you are supposed to use your account.

a much better way is just to get someone in the US to gift you the games

I probs won't bother but I'm guessing that Far Cry 2 is going to be available on UK steam when its released, its just this offer thats region restricted.

aye never had an issue, 4 games and counting so far, farcry 2 will be the 5th game thats been gifted :), thanks again bman!
