Non English Speaking Live Messenger User Flood

Question

For the past 6 months, I've gotten random IMs from people speaking Spanish or Russian. I am now getting random user add requests from Spanish speaking people.

My girlfriend experiences the same thing, and at work my friends experience the same thing. Is this just a freaky coincidence or are other people having this issue. How the heck do I make it stop!?!?!

Maybe someone advertised your e-mail address, and those of your acquaintances, on a Russian and/or Spanish speaking forum. Ouch!

Yeah, sorry about that.

Weird. I just find it odd 3 other people I know have the same issue.

Right now I have 3 invites from [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]

I just switched live IDs to a new one. I moved away from my hotmail address to a new @live address. I have not signed up for anything with that address. I use my gmail for that...

Well now that I know it isn't worldwide or nationwide, I feel saddened :(
