motabobo
Is there a place or a way so i could download/use ? standard XP ? icons under windows 2000...kind of a shell32.dll because I only want the control panel/My computer/Trash/etc... I took a look at those two shell32.dll with ResHacker, but they're are different. In XP, it has icon ressources while in 2k they're all individual icons...So i dunno what to do exactly and it would be a lot easier if the work has already been done somewhere... aco Veteran Posted December 3, 2001 Veteran Share Posted December 3, 2001 The best way to get standard XP icons for 2k/Me is to download IconPackager and get the XP icon package (v3) from WinCustomize: http://www.wincustomize.org/skins.asp?libr...ry=2&SkinID=
Joswin
What do they look like? I tried some a while ago and they looked rather rough under other version's of Windows. :/
motabobo
The solution provided only works for the start menu :( I mean it doesn't change all the control panels icons or some executables like notepad, paint, etc... Is there a more complete way to do it ? Thanks
