Java program that can calculate baseball stats

I am trying to find a java based simple program that will help me calculate my favorite players stats for this year. My problem is I have no idea how to write one.

If you were to ask me about creating one in c/c++/ I would be fine with it.

Any ideas?

That helps in so much as it does it on its own. I am looking for something that I can input information and it will give me the stats

If you know how to do it in c++ then a Java version would be very similar - ie logically identical but with specific syntax differences. Look for an intro to Java for C++ users.
