Accidentally Deleted Terminal

I accidentally deleted terminal, and I want it back! I haven't been able to find any downloads via google search, though demonoid may have one. Does anyone know where I can download it?

You could probably boot off the CD and do a repair install or add software without needing to do a full reinstall... Been a while since I did a Mac install

Use pacifist to extract it from your install disc.

makes me wonder if you can delete cmd from windows and not get it back unless you do a reinstall...

Nope, CMD is protected in Windows. If you delete it, then Windows automatically puts it back in. Same things goes for a lot of other key system files. Windows has a backup folder with copies of these key files and replaces them if they are missing.

Now I am primarily a Windows freak but is there any way to extract the file off of the disk such as on Windows they uncomress the file and rename it using expand

After searching Google this might be the best way to go heres what should work;

1) download manually the latest large update

2) mount the file as a dmg

3) you should be able to copy the file out
