Neowin Forums: 9 million posts by 09/2009?

As of now there are 8,399,232 posts on the Neowin forums.

Which made me wonder: Can the 9 million milestone be reached before September 30, 2009?

I believe it's possible. Why? Windows 7. With the release candidate and RTM both to be out before then there will be a flurry of activity in the Windows 7 forums.

Then there's always the possibility of staff starting another milestone thread like for the 8 million milestone which then turns into NeoChan.

What do you think? Can it be done?

As long as its not just useless post like before. It got quite annoying seeing spam threads. Keep the content pure without bloat. I just recently started posting again.
