Thank god they removed those tabs in the titlebar. It worked in chrome but the way safari did it was AWFUL.

they stopped forcing quicktime into the installer, yay:)

you can now choose the installer that includes quicktime or the 1 without:)

Looks an awful lot like Chrome now to me. Did the ditch the typical font-rendering? Tab text looks ugly. Windows 7 superbar integration!

Still don't like it.

Well, this thing is fast as hell (I'm using it on Windows XP).

I'm glad they changed the positions of the tab bar, but damn, this thing is fast!

Finally I'll stop using Firefox and switch over to Safari, it has everything I need.

No the fonts are fine everywhere but the tabs, changing the settings just makes them all extremely blurry and unreadable on any setting but windows standard for me.

does teh beta have to be uninstalled first ( OSX ), and is their an option to put the tabs back on top

What they said about Javascript is incorrect though. I've ran sunspider on both Chrome (latest beta) and Safari (4) and Chrome is actually just a little faster. Difference is insignificant, but still... I wonder where they got their numbers!

* Result for V8 is that Chrome is significantly faster.

That left aside, I really like the font rendering on Standard for LCD stuff and I'm gonna give Safari a try for now. If there was a way to disable taskbar thumbnails in 7...

AFAIK There is some usercss ones. They kinda suck though they don't actually block the downloading of ads like adblock they just hide them.

alot of sites dont use flash, also it would hurry up adobe into making a 64bit version as they dont have much incentive at the moment as there is no 64bit official firefox, chrome, opera or safari. they should allow power users to download a 64bit build, would be faster.
