With the release of Chrome 3 I thought it was time to see if something changed in browser usage. This time I decided to allow multiple choices, as I understand that many people do use more than one browser.

I use IE8 most of the time and the last couple of days I have also been using Chrome 4 developer preview a lot. When I get bored I go to Firefox :)

I'm sticking with Firefox, because it's fast enough for me and the interface has been customised to my liking.

I used to love Firefox but since I upgraded to Windows 7 I find it that it doesn't work to my liking. Maybe I am just bored of Firefox. Well, I think I know what it is: It doesn't integrate well with the Operating System and that bothers me a lot. Chrome supports now Jump Lists and I am sure that taskbar preview windows are also coming. It also supports process isolation, taking advantage of the User Access Control feature of the OS. Firefox's biggest strength (platform independence), is also its biggest weakness.

Where is firefox 3.0? Or am I the only one still using that?

Actually since I included IE 7 I should also include Firefox 3.0 but I thought to include the two latest versions of each major browser.

PS: I think it is time for you to upgrade!

I'm the kind of person that doesn't upgrade until it is actually necessary, also I think there is some kind of issue with 3.5 and linux. Flash? I can't remember.

^ do you have any idea how many security problems Firefox 2.0.0.4 must have? Hell, its not even the latest version of Firefox 2.

i know. so what? i don't have viruses, malwares, trojans, spy things, rootkits, or any attacks since 2002. but you know what?

i had no problems with my system browsing IE6. there were also no viruses, malwares, or spywares, etc on my system back then. (at least from 2002)

i know what you are talking about, yes. there are security problems in every browsers. especially the older ones.

...but "trust me. i know what i am doing".

i don't like to update, because there is no need (works fine) + it would ruin my customizations and reshacks. as soon as i got hacked, that means there is one reason to update.
