Are you saying you've downloaded a Windows Vista Installation Disc? Like the operating system DVD. What do you mean by a 'Windows Vista Boot CD'? If it's an ISO file, you need to have software that can burn ISO images onto a disc. Just copying the ISO onto a DVD won't work.

Thanks i meant ISO file, so yeah IMGBURN does it, i will check it now, so once i've burnt it, i just put it into my friends pc and it will load?

Exactly. Start it and click 'Write Image File to Disc'. And away you go! Once the disc is burnt, it will show up in the DVD Drive as the Windows Vista Disc.
