But .. for as long as I've been reading Slashdot and tried getting something up on the frontpage (they're harder to get something on the front page than Digg.com or Reddit), this is a HUGE achievement..

It's the story about John Carmack talking about No Dedicated Servers for Rage.

Thats pretty much the point of Slashdot, it's terribly coded site that provides a digest of news stories from many different websites.
