Blackberry Bold 9700

Any of you guys get this phone yet? I'm thinking about picking it up next week as an upgrade to my Pearl.

I just got one. I upgraded from a Pearl as well. It's amazing, I love everything about it.

Tmobile will release it on the 16th, if your a business customer then you can get it eailer.

But it is TMobiles first 3G phone and it should be great and easy to use just like any other blackberries

In Canada, its grand theft seriously but I got one anyways lol. Haven't tried it out much yet though it looks sweet and the so-called "twice the Bold in the Curve's shell"

It isn't twice the Bold, but it is faster. The best things about it are the new trackpad and a better camera. Major drawback of it is the size [the Bold has great size and this phone is more like the Curve]. I'd love to get one on release for AT&T, but I don't know if I'll like the size of it.

Let me ask you: Hows the battery life? I currently own a BB Bold 9000 and it needs to be charged almost daily...thats no real problem but I'm curious...did they improve here?

The trackpad is much better. I can't go back to my Pearls ball now.

Battery life is really good. Easily a couple days.

We're getting the Curve 8530 next week.

I got my 9700 shortly after it came out. Without a doubt, the best phone I every owned.

Any major negatives to it? It's $599 so price wise its not that bad, I'm hoping its a welcome upgrade over my reliable Pearl 8100, it's about time I upgraded :D

i think it's a firmware problem witht he battery life being **** after a week or two, cause i updated and my battery life improved and went back down again, idk

i hope they really fix it with 5.0

The size alone is making people switch from the original Bold. You should see one in person to really see the difference.

The 480 x 360 screen is also great.

I'm not ignoring all the other features, I was only wondering if the 3G was an update. It's not because I only mention one feature that I ignore the other features. ;)
