Weird Blackberry Messenger Issue

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or not and the search didn't prove to be helpful.

I'm using the latest version of the Blackberry Messenger on my 8900 Curve and I seem to be having this slight issue where every so often while im typing i lose the ability to see what im typing. It still allows me to send messages. But in order for me to fix this issue temporarily I'd have to end the chat and reopen the chat like starting a new conversation. This is starting to be quite annoying and was wondering if any fellow blackberry users have experienced this issue and/or possibly know how to fix this (if it's possible).

Hmm...I don't have the same issue, but a similar one. Sometimes when somebody starts a conversation with me, I can't open it. I have to close it then start a new one.

Actually, I forgot I updated BBM 2 days ago, so this issue may or may not be gone
