Interesting Kinect thought

Stupid thing I thought of but would anyone know if Kinect could do it's thing if it faces the BACK of the person or persons playing it? Why I ask? If a gymnastics gym I used to go to ever gets a projector* I have a layout of where everything would go in my head. Corrding to it our backs would face Kinect instead of our stomachs/front side, I'm simply wondering if the device could still detect arm swings among other motions that way instead of front facing. If not I have an alternative layout for that.

It could, but it woulndn't work since its't not programmed for it, and it woulnd't detect the arm movements when you have you arms in front of you, like for example when holding a pretend wheel.

Not to mention a major issue being the fact that when it looks at you from behind, all the movements you make are going to be the exact opposite of what you should be doing because of the camera location.
